about MASON

Mason gets to join the troops with the tikes & tots sheep program this year. Mason is an animal lover big time! He thinks everything is a "cutei pa-tootie". There was no way he was going to sit on the sidelines this year at fair. 

 

He may be tiny but he sure is mighty. Mom and dad are loving the stage of wanting to be such a big helper with this one, especially if it has to do with his goat, Cody! Dad brought home goats for his older brothers and Mason's response was, "where is my Cody?"

 

Even though many were bigger than him, growing sunflowers with his brothers last year to start raising money for future fair animals was part of the package. We called it "Project Sunshine". Mason and his brothers cut, cleaned, wrapped and sold bundles of huge sunflowers and had people donate enough money to provide all 40 elderly residents of Green Acres in Greenville, where his great grandma resides, with their own fresh bouquet of sunflowers to brighten their day. It was magical delivering them to the facility!

Mason has many 4H years ahead of him and we can see him wanting to show many different animals but where he will shine is with barn duty...this boy LOVES his pitch fork and Santa was kind enough to bring him his very own real one. Shovels are a close second love of his.
